Making a baby quilt is 100% satisfying and fun for me because within a very short period of time a baby quilt can be started and finished.  FINISHED!  I rarely get to use that word!  This is the quilt I made for a special friend who is expecting her first baby, a boy, and I was told she's all about black and white!

You know I love circle quilts - and baby circle quilts are just so dang cute!  This quilt is 40 x 40-inches, so it's perfect for the car, stroller and to toss on the floor for the little one to roll around on. 

I found the VW Bus fabric for the back of the quilt at Gossypium Quilt Shop in Issaquah.  (For you local quilters, if you haven't been to Gossypium yet - what's keeping you?!?  It's a great shop and you know you need more fabric!)

 

 

 

The middle pic is of some burp cloths I made - Target has the best cloth diapers and they make the best burp cloths (and cleaning cloths!).  Congratulations Kate - can hardly wait to meet your baby boy!
