Hiya kids! For those of you who are wondering, my name is Nan, well my full name is Nanette but only my parents call me that, and usually only when I'm in trouble! So call me Nan, or whatever you want, I'll answer to pretty much anything. I live in the Pacific Northwest, the most beautiful place on planet Earth and I've been here so long I consider myself a Native...If you can pronounce Puyallup, know the difference between a latte and a macchiato, own at least one pair of Birkenstocks, have used soy milk in recipes, and can throw a rock and hit at least 5 people who work for Microsoft, then you're a native Northwesterner!
I am 100% A.D.D. when it comes to interests...I love to cook and bake, hence the "pots" but I also love to quilt and sew...the "pins". I also like to garden, read, hunt for antiques, watch movies, paint, knit, crochet, hang out with friends, and my all-time favorite activity is being with my family. I have two kids...the boy and the girl who have each gifted me with an in-law! I also have two perfect grandchildren, Max and Elsa, the great loves of my life!! Oh, and then there's the mister...some of my readers think I trash the mister on my little blog...they don't understand...I don't trash the mister...I vent, there's a difference! Besides, he's Marine, can handle the truth! Writing a blog is cheaper than going to a therapist...the mister has my password, he is free to strike-out, write over, delete and/or edit anything at anytime...he chooses not to, probably because he can't read. Whatever.
