The mister has been unusually congenial lately...he's been almost happy. One would naturally assume he's come to his senses and has finally realized just how good he's got it around here...meaning, having me as his wife! But no, that's not it, he's over-joyed at a new business venture he's started...with me!!
Yep, we are now working together on something else that doesn't involve our bread and butter biz...it's exactly what the mister has always wanted...he gets to sit at his desk and bark and I get to do all the work! I've always thought of the mister as the crazy one but as it turns out, going into business with the mister proves I'm seriously lacking in the brain cell department!!!
I can't tell you about it just yet - but soon Grasshopper, soon I will show you what we've been up to...you're going to love it! Do you hear me? YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT - YES YOU ARE, DAMMIT AND THAT'S AN ORDER! Please forgive me, there seems to be some kind of transference that's happened from working with the mister...It's like Freaky Friday around here...but not to worry, I have no doubt by the time we get everything in order I'll be back to normal and so will he...because a meglomaniac cannot change it's spots!
In between the new business and the old business, there is still plenty to do...baking, gardening, cleaning, laundry and it's the start of wedding season!! I'm committed to four this summer...four weddings and with any luck at all, no funerals! Every night I've collapsed into bed!! I just need a few more days in my week or a lobotomy! I had to throw in the shot of my sweet dad swinging his golf club in his backyard...little Max is behind him, monkey see, monkey do! And speaking of Max - he and Elsa are coming today!!! I'm so excited - the are driving here, as Max said, "We are going over the mountains all the way to the tall trees!" So no rest for the wicked this week!
