Little Elsa is going to be blessed on Easter Sunday - or christened, as they say...where she's given a name and a blessing so there's still time for me to lobby for a few names to be added in between her first and last name...I just don't understand why she can only have a first, middle and last name?!? Why just three?!?! Why can't she be called Elsa Kate Savannah Macy Elizabeth Brittney Sunshine Annie Maude ?!? What's wrong with that?!?! The girl will not even humor me a bit - I mean, I'd be fine if she left off the Savannah, Macy, Elizabeth or even the Brittney but Elsa Kate Sunshine Annie Maude is really a well-rounded name...don't you think?! OR...why can't she have just one more name...Elsa Kate Nanette?? She should be named after me...IF she wants to inherit anything....that's not a veiled threat...there is no veil involved! One more thing, we all know each member of the Royal Family has dozens of names and if it's good enough for them then it should be good enough for Little Elsa!!! I rest my case.
White silk dupioni backed with white satin, bound in light pink satin and hand stitched with pink floss...it's pretty dang cute!
I'll happily stitch more names around the quilt - which measures 40-inches by 40-inches - just big enough to wrap little Elsa up in.
Along with her three names...pitiful to have so few...her birthdate is stitched on...and on the back in small stitches it has the date of her blessing.
Little Elsa looks like her daddy...and her brother...not much of the girl in her at all!
