I'm in SLC, the land of big hair (the higher the hair the closer to God) on baby watch for the next little bit - only five more days till I get a grand-daughter! In this post I put a picture of these quilts but I thought I'd show them entirely finished...I guess you could call these baby quilts a year-in-the-making...started in 2011, finished in 2012!
Baby Ruby will be getting the quilt on top and Baby Reese will get the one on the bottom - both are backed with flannel and both are 42-inches square.
There is one more baby quilt waiting to be finished when I get home - for Baby Elsa/Macy/Cosima/Annie/Caroline/Kate/Sophia/Portia/Rose/Marchella/Wendy/Sunshine (a personal favorite! If The Boy had been a girl he would have been named Sunshine!)...five more days of indecision!! Personally I think my daughter and SIL should name this baby ALL of the names they like - and especially all of the names I like...who said a baby can only have ONE first name or ONE middle name?!?
Raw-edge applique and machine quilted - with Warm and Natural batting - they are soft as can be! Congratulations Tara and Mike and Noelle and Mel! There is nothing quite like a new baby girl!
