This is the first Thanksgiving since we've lived in the great Pacific Northwest where it has snowed...the turkey is in the oven, there's a fire blazing in the fireplace, and it's snowing outside...magical! Soon it will be time for us to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on TV, followed by the Westminster Dog Show...yep, big doin's around here! My family didn't make it here for the feast - too many storms, too many mountain passes, too, too dangerous to drive - so they stayed home where they'll all get together and feast without the three of us...I'm already missing them!
