Last week was just nuts for me...but I got through it, with most of my brain cells in tact because I had lots of FUN things to work on - here, let me show you:
Soldering! It's Deb's newest obsession, and she happily shared it with me - just look at all of her equipment! I only had time to make two soldered ornaments, pictures cut from books, and I couldn't be more proud - adorable, no?
Wow, another bad pic...but when I tell you I'm totally smitten I think you can see why...guess what everyone is getting for Christmas this year?!
My Sunday School class loved making Pilgrims with me...we now have 6 rolls of toilet paper without the cardboard core in our bathroom...didn't they turn out cute? Paper Pilgrims are easy-peasy for kids to make, click here to find directions to make your own - you know you want to!
Wish I knew the name of this pattern to give you, but all I had was a scrap of paper with the picture of the pillow on it - I ripped it out of a catalog years ago and recently found it - decided it was time to finally git-er-done. I FOUND IT! This is one of Melanie Howard's Designs by Moonthistle Patterns, click here to see more of them or to order this one. It's called Fall and it pretty much says it all. Well, that was all LAST week, this week is jammed packed with projects, turkey parties and Christmas decorating...what, like it's early?!? Thanksgiving Recipes up tomorrow!
Oh...one more thing...the mister claims he caught the mouse...although no proof was offered I did hear some disturbing noises the other day when he was "in pursuit"...he determined the mouse was getting in through a VERY SMALL opening in the garage so either his car backfired or he used his howitzer - either way, the mouse has vanished, and we now need to call the handyman to fix the enormous hole in the wall in and to replace insulation that vaporized along with the mouse.
