Last year, on the way home from the 28-mile long garage sale, we hit upon an antique store of sorts...mostly junk...sprinkled with a few antiques and I discovered this cross-stitch - it's not very big, only 13x17-inches and was worked in 6-strands of floss on a black cotton background:
But it "spoke" to me so I slapped down my 2 bucks and carted it home and put it in my pile. I love the colors - and it's such a nice little village! I turned it into a pillow for our family room and can now "tick" it off my list:
That's the extent of my sewing this week - except for tailoring and hemming two pairs of men's dress pants and making a few adjustments on one beautiful prom dress...the weekend is going to be busy - the rains are supposed to stop and the mister and I have BIG PLANS!! Have a wonderful Memorial Day, remember those you've loved and lost, and I'll see you on Monday.
