Oops! I should have wiped the food smudge off the front of the book! Well, now you know I really use the thing! I'm very proud to be one of the 440 contributors in the Worldwide Ward Cookbook ...and I'm not sure how I got to be so lucky...I remember receiving an email from someone about 3 years ago and they asked for a recipe - so I sent one off - and then promptly forgot all about it. Six months or so ago I received another email asking for a picture - so I sent it off - and then promptly forgot all over again. So I was very surprised when I received my copy of this big and colorful book with beautiful food pictures and discovered I had a recipe in it AND MY PICTURE! I think I look a little hammered but that was before my hair cut and face lift...I look MUCH BETTER now! Kidding, I did get a hair cut but, OBVIOUSLY, no work has been done on my face...yet! I gave you this recipe about a year ago - it's a good one and I'm not just saying that because it's mine...nope, I'm telling you straight - it's dang good - and would definitely get 5 dangs on the old dang meter! This book is filled with tried and true, down-home, and wonderful passed-down recipes from people just like yourself who cook every day for their families. Currently, it's only available from Deseret Book or Seagull Books and Costco...in Utah.
