I didn't get a chance to post pictures of the quilts from our quilt group meeting last month - the quilt show kind of took over my life - so I've included those pictures with the ones from our meeting just the other day...however, due to my lack of memory I can't tell you who all of these quilts belong to! Just know that everyone in my quilt group is very talented!
The colorful house quilt, above left, is Helen's - she is the Queen of Color. This is a great way to use the very basic and versatile 9-patch block - isn't it darling? The quilt on the right is much more beautiful in person - I remember just loving it but I can't remember who's it is!
Both of these, pictured above, belong to Denise. The button Christmas Tree picture is such a great idea! Might have to steal it my gifts next Christmas!
Nooo idea who's circle quilt that is - but it's a beauty! I'm thinking it belongs to Dawn, but I could be wrong. I'm not wrong about the quilt on the left above, it's Dawn's latest and it's HUGE! It's also beautifully pieced!
The quilt, above left, was made by Dawn and I think it's a gift for her daughter's boyfriend...he's an Oregon Duck Fan so she made him an Oregon Duck quilt! It's a great quilt - but tis reminds me of Irish Spring Soap and makes me think of wee lads and lasses! The quilt on the right, above, is one of Terry's latest creations - so, so, SO cute! She also made the beautiful pillow, below, to go with it. Terry said the quilt top itself was a snap but she had over 30 hours of machine quilting!! And you should see it up close - it's amazing!
The little heart quilt on the right is one of Helen's - bright and cheery and we all loved it. Helen said it was a LOT of sewing and she'd never make another one...we'll see! It's waaaaay cute.
The quilt on the left is also Helen's - it's one of our very favorites of hers - and I think one of her favs too. The quilt top on the right was just finished by Janet for her son - who is now over 6-feet and needed a bigger quilt! Funny how that happens. I'm so sorry about the picture - it's much better in person - very dramatic but for some reason I couldn't get my camera to focus...okay, operator error, but I tried!
