Apparently one good turn deserves another - and I couldn't be happier about that! Actually, it's the girl and Baby Max who are over-the-moon-happy. Deb the Aussie, Little Manly's grandma, was so thrilled with the baby quilt I made for Little Manly, that she wanted Baby Max to have something she had made - wasn't that sweet?!? So she gave him this beautiful crocheted blanket - and it's so soft and wonderful and warm...Baby Max loves poking his little fingers in it!
This is what the Aussie said to me, "One day, Little Manly will be walking down the street and he'll bump into Baby Max and he'll say to him, '"Hey, I have a blankie just like that!"' And then the two will become fast friends." Of course, it all sounds so much better when said with an Australian accent! Little Manly lives in Perth, Australia and Baby Max lives in Utah, just East of Perth! But one day, one lucky day, they just might meet - stranger things have happened! Thanks Deb - it's beautiful and the girl already treasures it!
