I'm not a huge fan of scary halloween stuff...I worry about the little kids being scared. The boy asked if he could get on the roof this year and when the little goblins come up to the porch he wants to jump down and scare them...either that or he wants to hang bags of blood so they can drip all over them...stuff like that creeps me out - I like the "softer side of halloween"...where no one gets scared and everyone gets candy...So the boy and his plans have been DENIED...he's now working on a new angle...and he still thinks he's going out trick or treating! There should there be an age and height limit for trick or treaters... If you're over age 12, and you have to duck to walk through a door then you're not getting any candy! I may "card" the kids this year...prove to me you're young enough to trick or treat or you won't be getting a bite-sized Reeces! This is what I did today...
These are supposed to be witch's boots...it's my design...not sure if I love it or not...guess it will grow on me...and below is what I did a few days ago - I just got it framed. This is from a pattern called Spooky Laundry by Moonthistle Design -the original pattern is much cuter. I changed a few things and mine is done only in black floss, the patterns calls for different colors - which is kind of fun - but I just wanted black...representative of my mood lately...go figure!
