My sister called me with great news...she won a trip to Disneyworld, which included a one night stay in CINDERELLA'S CASTLE! Now, NO ONE gets to stay in Cinderella's castle unless they are INVITED by the Disney people...no amount of money can get you in the door - and believe me, people have tried...sorry Paris and Brittney! So my sister tells me she is going to take her two daughters and ME! My heart couldn't have beat any faster...I was so excited - I am a Disney freak - I love everything Disney and when I die I want to be buried under the front entrance to the park...all those happy little feet walking over me each day...all those happy little faces...it is the happiest place on Earth and I don't care WHAT anyone says! My bags are packed, I've changed my schedule to accomodate flying with the nieces to meet my sister, who was going to be on the East coast for a meeting...and then...the brother-in-law reared his ugly head! He announced that HE would be taking my place - wanting to spend some quality time with the fam - which really meant that his Hog-hunt was cancelled or the fish weren't biting...but I say nothing. I hid my devastation...far be it from me to say ANYTHING about being thrown over the dam...or to even mention having my DREAM TRIP ripped away from me like a shark feasting on a floundering tuna-smelling lawyer! Nothing left for me to do but swallow my hopes and dreams...quietly...while my sister, nieces and my future ex-brother-in-law (him going on this trip at the LAST minute and tossing me aside like I was nothing more than a gum wrapper is certainly a deal-breaker for me...I hope my sister will come to her senses and throw the dream-stealing-interloper out...is that going too far?! Seriously, I may be melodramatic but I think that sounds reasonable, don't you??) frolick in the castle, dine with Mickey and Minnie, and have the time of their lives... This is my niece Callie, getting the royal treatment from one of Cinderella's hand-maids in the Bippity-Boppity-Boo-Hair Salon...the other picture is from inside the castle...alas, where I should have been...
They did have a wonderful time...and I AM happy they got to go...it was a once in a lifetime experience...and as I see it, my brother-in-law has the rest of HIS life to make it up to me...not that I'm bitter...
