Broke the nieces out of school early and took them to see Nim's Island...loved it - mainly because of Gerard Butler but I must say, even with all of my issues, the thought of living on a remote island does have it's appeal...took Gracie clothes shopping for the last time - I swear - then she was only too happy to help around the house - cleaned the bathroom like nobody's business! Made 4 more Ugly Dolls...also the last time I make them - I swear! Asked Lyndsey to go get a pedicure/manicure but she and P-Diddy have plans in Park City - so I guess it'll just be me sitting in the chair listening to the manicurist talk in Vietnamese and laugh, also in Vietnamese.... it's all included in the $50... We gave my dad a wooden shed for Christmas...he built it and now has to unbuild it because it's in the wrong spot...the gift that keeps on giving...Woke up to snow again this morning - melted by noon - high on Monday is supposed to be 80 degrees....freakin' weather! Mom and I hit a favorite antique shop today - purchased a nice little pair of salt and pepper shakers for my collection - they're the first set in the collection. The mister arrives on Sunday - thinks he's on a non-stop flight - he's not - he stops in Boise - wish I could be there to see his face when he gets this bit of news...he'll be so annoyed - on second thought, glad I won't be there! Mom made "bread machine bread" yesterday - it raised itself up and out of the machine - so Dad cut off the top of the raised dough, closed the lid and let it continue to cook...and not being one to waste things, he found some heart shaped cookie cutter and cut the dough and then fried it making what he called scones...wish we'd been here to see that in action! Who knew he knew how to do that?!? Mom and I were out and about, participating in the Catch and Release Program - that's where we go shopping, purchase something and bring it home, only to return it the next day...it's pretty much a daily routine around here - in between picking up the nieces, cleaning my sister's house and trying to keep tabs on the rest of the tribe...time to watch the Miss Universe Pageant on TV ...
