As it turns out, this past year was one for our record books....we certainly had our share of misfortunes during the last 12 months but for the first time in many years, the good things - the blessings - outshined the bad. We have much to be grateful for, too - so it's with a few tugs at my heart that I say good-bye to 2007. Surely the new year won't be as wonderful.....or maybe it will! Maybe we're on a roll! Maybe this is the big upswing that we've been waiting for! Maybe our ship, that's been circling the harbor, will finally come in - and not sink before it docks! Maybe, maybe, maybe! Oh please, please, please....let this be the year! Oh please, I've been good....sort of...most of the time....oh please, let the ship dock, let it dock, LET IT DOCK! Oh well, whatever happens in 2008, I've got family and friends and a loyal pooch - what more could I need to deal with whatever is dealt?!?
