Fire! Fire! Fire!!!

First the fires in Colorado had us on edge - the mister has a daughter who lives there and her house was threatened several times but luckily it was saved!!  We were so relieved when she said all was well and good and the fires were out!  Then last night, the mountain behind where The Girl lives was ablaze!!  This pic was taken from her neighbor's driveway!!  We don't have these problems in rainy Seattle!!  Just another reason why The Girl should stick a sign in her yard and move HOME!  Godfrey!!!  This morning the girl reported the flames are still there...much lower on the mountain!!!  This just in:  The Girl said there is a DYNAMITE plant on the other side of the mountain!!!  And the fire department has evacuated everyone on the other side of them!  She's not sure what she's going to do just yet - the wind is blowing away from them so maybe she'll stay and let the kids have their "play date"...OH MY Hell!!!  She is JUST like her father!  What's the hurry??  A little fire is nothing to be afraid of!  Got any marshmallows?!?!? ......Someone bring me some drugs!!   

Their news said there is a mandatory evacuation for the area...and the "authorities" are not worried about the "explosives plant"...they said, "...there are a lot of minerals in the land that will naturally fuel the fire."  Oh, now THAT'S reassuring!  So here I sit, 800 miles away...in the rain...unable to do a thing...but eat...and worry...and eat!!
