The oven mitts are off...I am at my wit's end...my oven is on the FRITZ YET AGAIN! It was ridickerous trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner when every 15 minutes we had to adjust the temperature to try to keep the heat constant...oh, need I remind you that my oven is THREE YEARS OLD?!? And this is the 6th time it will have been repaired in THREE YEARS!!! I'm so sorry to bore you with my oven drama yet again...but I'm just doing my civic duty here...I mean, what kind of person would I be if I didn't warn you about this STINKIN' OVEN?!?! Save yourself and your sanity and your pies, cakes and cookies...spend the extra $$$ and buy the Viking or the Wolf!
When I pulled my Fairy Cakes out of the oven this afternoon they were soggy, sunken in the center and no where near done...they were supposed to bake for 25 minutes...70 minutes later they were done...but still sunken in the center. Now folks - that just ain't right! I was willing to continually make manual adjustments so we could have our Thanksgiving feast...and willing still to make the adjustments when I baked the 125 wedding cookies I promised to do...and when the mister asked for pumpkin pie a week after Thanksgiving I happily put up with the temp problems, the pie being in the oven almost twice as long as it should have been...but I draw the line at sunken Fairy Cakes!
Here's the thing...my oven is under warranty and the repairman comes out and fixes it...but it's days and even weeks before he comes and then he has to order parts and I have to wait another two weeks or so before he comes back and replaces the bad parts with the good...so a month will have passed where I have either a poorly working oven or none at all. Which is just unacceptable! I have written Jenn-Air and asked them to replace my range/oven - I've had enough. I haven't heard back from them yet...but I'll be sure to let you know what they have to say.

Stumble It!
That stinks! Hope you get a new oven out of it!!! How frustrating.

Give us all Jenn Air's information so we can let them know we will not be purchasing a product from them in the future!!!!!! I was looking at the finish they have out but have not pursued even looking at it in person because of your oven. We have a channel here in Vegas that puts stuff like this on the news and wala it is always taken care of asap imagine that!!!!!!!!!

I would send them a written complaint, chronologically listing the efforts you have made to work with them on fixing it and the resulting delays. Give them x number of days to fix it or file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
