Mini Christmas Runner...

I finished this last night - it's a little Christmas runner for a gift exchange - it says, "You Can't Catch Me - I'm The Gingerbread Man."

It's hand-stitched and made out of felted wool with a cotton backing and binding. 

This is another project from my felted wool book - which still isn't done.....but I'm getting closer!  As soon as Christmas is over - say February or so - I'll get it all wrapped up and off to the publisher....at least by March.

Gift exchanges are so much fun - this will be my third one this month - the first two were through the mail to strangers and I loved that!  This gift exchange is with women I know and love - and of course, everyone wants to have the gift that is "fought over"....this probably won't be the "one" but I'm hoping whoever gets it will like it.
